Hybrid makeup means cosmetics formulated to combine the aesthetic performance of makeup with skincare benefits, all in one single product.

80%+ natural origins

“Natural origin” refers to ingredients for which more than 50% of the molecular structure comes from a natural source, in line with ISO 16128.

Lebubè makeup is formulated with at least 80% naturally derived ingredients, sourced from plants, non-petroleum minerals, water, or other natural origins, and obtained through physical processing, fermentation, or other non-synthetic methods.

Vegan cosmetics

Vegan cosmetics are products formulated without animal-derived ingredients, animal by-products, or ingredients tested on animals.

All Lebubè hybrid cosmetics are fully vegan by formulation, including pigments, waxes, coatings, and processing aids.

Not tested on animals

Not tested on animals means that cosmetic products and ingredients are not tested on animals, in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 of the European Parliament on cosmetic products.

Animal testing for cosmetics is prohibited in the European Union, and Lebubè fully complies with this regulation.

Halal-friendly certified

Halal-friendly cosmetics are products formulated without alcohol, porcine-derived ingredients, or other substances restricted under Halal principles.

Lebubè hybrid cosmetics are produced with Halal-certified Italian partners who follow compliant ingredient selection and manufacturing processes.

Upcycled ingredients

Upcycled ingredients are cosmetic ingredients made by reusing materials or by-products from other industries that would otherwise be discarded, and repurposing them into functional cosmetic ingredients.

Lebubè uses upcycled materials, such as upcycled rice and flower derivatives, to improve texture and performance while reducing environmental waste.

Made in Italy

“Made in Italy” indicates that product formulation and manufacturing take place in Italy, within one of the world’s most established cosmetic production districts.

Italian manufacturing ensures high safety standards, refined textures, strict quality control, and shorter supply chains.

No Carbon Black

Carbon black is a synthetic pigment commonly used in mascaras to achieve intense black colour. It is typically derived from fossil-fuel sources such as coal tar.

Lebubè excludes carbon black from its formulas due to its potential to irritate sensitive eyes.
